How to find us
The River Green Café is situated on the corner of The Street and White Horse Lane in the village of Trowse, near the city of Norwich.
On road parking immediately outside the River Green Café is limited for local residents. We would be very grateful if our patrons respected parking restrictions and also did not park in the pub car park opposite us.
By Cycle
River Green is a 15 minutes cycle ride from Norwich City centre. Trowse is on National Cycle Route 1:
and on a number of local cycle routes including the Trowse –Poringland circular, which includes the route out of Norwich to Trowse:
Bicycles can be securely locked immediately outside the River Green Café.
By Bus
Trowse is well served by public transport. The last bus back to Norwich is at about 2125 (no Sunday evening service). Local bus numbers 557 and 558 stop right outside River Green. Please check out the Anglian Bus website for up-to-date timetables:
By Train
River Green is 15-20 minutes walk from Norwich railway station, or five minutes by taxi.
By Car
The River Green in Trowse is only a few minutes drive away from both Norwich and from the Norwich Southern Bypass A47 junction with the A146.
